Museum Report: Collectio
Introduction:
Welcome to Collectio, the world's first museum dedicated to the history of anomalies. Here, you will embark on a journey through 30 rooms, each showcasing a unique anomaly from various corners of the universe. No staff members are present in the establishment.
1. Entrance Hall:
The entrance hall of Collectio greets visitors with minimalist elegance, setting the stage for the extraordinary journey ahead. The walls are pure stone and there is only a simple desk at the front with a guide and translations for some of the rooms, their is two doors either side one connecting to room 30 showing the end of the journey and one connecting to room 1 the start of the journey.
2. The Time Rift Chamber:
Step into the Time Rift Chamber, where time bends and twists, offering glimpses into the past, present, and future simultaneously. Witness historical events unfold in anachronistic harmony. The room is rather small, several panels of information surrounding the chamber which is roughly 10 ft tall and 5ft wide it has titanium walls that curve into a dome and the door is made of iron with it looking similar to a gate. Shown in the panels the chamber is roughly 300 years old and was made by Seraphin Desrosiers a French Anthropologist. Desrosiers' creation was hidden by Louis XV until it was found in the year (the year this creation was found again was not on the panel, the information was skipped.) and is now placed in Montpellier.
3. The Eternal Flame Gallery:
Experience the perpetual blaze of the Eternal Flame, a mysterious phenomenon that defies the laws of thermodynamics. Marvel at its unending dance of light and heat. A replica of the flame is placed along the wall of the room which is made of a heat resistant stone that is cold to the touch. No information about the flame is in the room or guide.
4. The Whispering Woods Exhibit:
Enter the Whispering Woods, where the trees themselves seem to speak. Listen closely as they share secrets from ages long past, echoing through the dense foliage. Some of the whispers are in different languages and only a few could be deciphered as the guide seems to be outdated. The whispers heard are as follows
(French) "My Lord above! save me, SAVE ME PLEASE! MY LORD!" screaming could then be heard
(German) "What is this madness? nothing is wrong with Ekkehard! do not pray to this lord of yours for my brother to leave! Weltschmerz? Weltschmerz!? Ekkehard is not dead you old hag!"
(Japanese) "i ask for your forgiveness before i die, Shogun. spare my family and tell them i apologize for disgracing them."
5. The Crystal Caves Display:
Delve into the Crystal Caves, where shimmering formations of otherworldly beauty adorn the underground chambers. Each crystal holds a story of its own as souls are taken by those who inhale a dust that the crystals chip off themselves, turning the crystal they inhale a different shape and colour depending on the person's mood at the time as their story is carved into the crystal, leaving their soul stuck in a colourful cage (this information is found through the panels on each crystal which give a biography on the person inside).
6. The Mirror Maze:
Navigate through the perplexing Mirror Maze, where reflections distort reality and every turn leads to a new dimension. Lose yourself in the infinite possibilities of mirrored realms. There are 78 mirrors in all different sizes and frames, coating the walls and ceiling of the room. Each mirror peeks into a different alternate reality. There is no information panels in the room.
7. The Gravity Well Chamber:
Experience the pull of the Gravity Well, a gravitational anomaly that defies conventional physics. Objects float weightlessly, suspended in a perpetual dance around the center of mass. The walls and floor of the room are padded as the well is placed in the middle, you are free to take a dive inside and be flown back outside. The panels for this room are on the ceiling, they say the well was founded in Greece and had statues of the god Hermes around it with letters saying "Deus Hermes noster, nuncius et ab omnibus dilectus. Eius donum nobis permittit ut potentiae suae videamur" seemingly a prayer or chant.
8. Aurora Archway Exhibit:
Step through the Aurora Archway and behold the breathtaking beauty of the aurora borealis, captured within the confines of this anomalous phenomenon. Feel the ethereal glow wash over you. This anomalous arch is only displayed through pictures and paintings, the room is more like a hallway with the floors mimicking snow and the walls painted black and dark purple to mimic the night sky. There are no information panels in this room either.
9. Shadow Gallery:
Peer into the depths of the Shadow Gallery, where darkness reigns supreme and reality bends to its will. Explore the eerie creatures shrouded in perpetual twilight. The shadows are an audience. Your audience. They smile when you are happy. They frown when you are sad or angry. They enjoy religions that only focus on one god. They hate pantheons. The shadows are not your enemy.
10. The Bringer of Death Display:
"The Bringer of Death, Thou who has reign over the persons of the land, Thou who is unrestrained by such strange beliefs as death, Thou whomst is the afterlife itself." that is the only writing on the panel of this room. a Statue, clothed in ragged black robes, thorns and lilies of the valley coming from the sleeves and around its feet. the hood is pulled over the skull of a deer, the horns having ripped places for themselves in the hood and bone hands clasped behind its back. Gold plated eyes inside the sockets with Moonstone peering down at whoever dares to stand infront of it. No name is given to this entity. No name other than Death.
11. The Island of Icarus Chamber:
Ascend to a sized down replica of the Island of Icarus, a floating Kingdom suspended in mid-air by unknown forces. Explore its lush vegetation and serene waters, seemingly untouched by gravity. The palaces and architecture follow that of the greeks, it is approximately 14,000 feet above ground making it just touch the clouds. The population on the island is roughly 40,000 and the main language is pig latin with some speaking english and regular latin as found on the plaques in the room. The replica is only of the city center but it is expansive and it seems the people worship Icarus and his father Daedalus as angels.
12. The Singing Sands Exhibit:
Listen to the haunting melodies of the Singing Sands, where grains of sand produce harmonious tunes as they cascade down the dunes. Experience the surreal symphony of the desert. The sands sing the tales of songs lost to time, of plays that are no longer known. The room in the museum for this harmonious entity has a sample of the sand playing different tunes, no song is repeated until a year ends. The room is large and has towels set out so those who enter can stay and listen to these forgotten melodies.
13. The Inverted Waterfall Gallery:
Marvel at the Inverted Waterfall, where water flows upward against the pull of gravity, defying all logical explanation. Witness the mesmerizing spectacle of liquid defying its natural course. Not much is known about this anomaly but it is still beautifully nested away in a forest.
14. The Holographic Horizon Display:
Gaze upon the Holographic Horizon, where the boundaries of reality blur and merge with virtual landscapes. Lose yourself in the illusion of endless horizons stretching beyond the limits of perception. The Holographic Horizon was originally apart of the game (Once again, information has been skipped in the panel) as one of the areas you could explore but after the game became virtual it had slowly seeped into reality. The Holographic Horizon is a simple field of flowers with a river flowing through it, though it has a strangely calming feeling to it similar to The Edelweiss garden except the more you stay the more you feel the need to find the garden and stay there, allowing the flowers to claim you.
15. The Ethereal Observatory Chamber:
Peer through the telescopes of the Ethereal Observatory and witness celestial phenomena beyond comprehension. Explore the mysteries of the cosmos from the comfort of this anomalous observatory. The telescope inside the room has no windows to look out from yet when you look through the glass you see the planets, the stars the other universes next to our own. We used to believe the telescope is anomalous but it seems the observatory itself is.
16. The Vanishing Valley Exhibit:
Explore the Vanishing Valley, where the landscape shifts and morphs, defying all attempts at cartography. Watch as mountains vanish into thin air and rivers change course at whim. There is no information on whether the vanishing is random or has a pattern but it seems to cycle through China, Chile and Spain.
17. The Resonating Ruins Gallery:
Enter the Resonating Ruins, where ancient structures emit haunting screams that echo through the ages. Explore the remnants of civilizations long forgotten, their voices preserved in stone. The screams only come at certain times on certain days most likely to represent when the person has died, some screams pray while some are true anguish and terror. We have no information on who these people are.
18. The Magnetic Monolith Display:
Stand before the Magnetic Monolith, a towering structure that exerts a powerful magnetic force, disrupting all nearby technology. Witness the clash between ancient energy and modern innovation. The Monolith replica is scaled down as the true one reaches the clouds, it is a very strong magnet and attracts even the weakest metals. From the information panel it is said this happens because of the runes engraved over the entirety of the monolith.
19. The Echoing Abyss Chamber:
Descend into the Echoing Abyss, where the darkness seems to swallow sound itself. Explore the depths of this mysterious chasm, where echoes reverberate endlessly into the void. Its anomalous properties are relatively normal, similar to the Edelweiss garden it is simply an endless cavern, the replica is if course much smaller.
20. The Shifting Sands Exhibit:
Navigate the ever-changing landscape of the Shifting Sands, where dunes rearrange themselves in a perpetual dance of erosion and creation. Witness the ephemeral beauty of desert transformation. The reason they are constantly eroding then creating is because of a time loop placed on the area, a similar time loop was placed in the room that only affects the sand and rocks.
21. The Chrono Crater Gallery:
Peer into the depths of the Chrono Crater, where geological layers reveal a chronology of time itself. Explore the annals of history etched in stone, from ancient epochs to modern eras. The stone in the crater is actually all made of stone tablets, each representing a different time period in a different country, there are accounts from philosophers in Rome to Courtesans in the Han Dynasty, the newer stone tablets dating to the year 2700. the crater slowly gets larger and larger ass more tablets are inserted into its walls, the replica crater seems to keep up to date with it.
22. The Labyrinth Display:
Navigate the Quantum Labyrinth, where paths diverge and merge in a bewildering array of possibilities. The real labyrinth is riddled with dangerous spirits from all kinds of folklore and the only way to exit is to die. The Labyrinth has walls of stone, blood fills the floor making it hard to move properly and if you are unfortunate you will trip on someone's organs. The replica just has red flooring and there is a way out into the next room, plaques of each spirit haunting the walls of the labyrinth are in each corner with their identifiable marks next to them.
23. The Angel's Walkway:
The walkway is an orchard, Ethereal trees line the path all of Angelic origin with different flowers growing next to them. The museum can only use placeholders for this though, as any plant of angelic or supernatural origin is protected by some lower Gods. The walkway is roughly 2 miles long with panels talking about the flowers and trees they had to replicate.
24. The Echo Chamber Exhibit:
Step into the Echo Chamber, where sound waves linger and multiply, creating a cacophony of reverberating voices. Experience the surreal sensation of hearing your own echoes from alternate realities. Similar to the Mirrors, the echos come from different realities and will not always reflect your own voice or your own language, so be careful when you say something.
25. A Pantheon's Recluse:
The Pantheon's Recluse is a secluded groto, its replica in Collectio has a warning that the flowers used are placeholders as the actual flowers are of angelic origin and protected by the Gods, the Gods that reside here are not named simply given titles, The Goddess of Hope and Blindness, The God of War and Justice, The God of Insanity who had fallen years ago, The Goddess of The World and All That is Good, The God of Secrets and Locks. Mot much is said about them but from what they rule over we can guess that some tell us a truth, such as Hope is blind, Justice only comes from war and a few more. The God of insanity had fallen years ago and one of their many cathedrals turned into the Butterfly Bar.
26. Dr Davonius Creations:
The exhibit is the Theatre they replicated the dolls giving them synthetic hair and fake teeth and eyes instead of human. The information reveals Dr Davonius is around 22 when the shop had opened, dabbling in rebirth and creation she had sacrificed a young girl who was the daughter of a noble family and someone who was loosely related to the Edelweiss family. Dr Davonius was described as having an unstable mental and changing her personality at times, it seemed she only sometimes responded to her own name meaning she might of had Dissociative Identity Disorder but because if the time period was described as schizophrenic instead.
27. Cascade Cavern:
The Cascade Cavern exhibit displays the first floor, they give the illusion of the open ceiling with mirrors and it is vast, they somehow kept the tree in the center with the waterfall streaming down behind it sadly the arcade hidden is not there. the only information revealed is already documented here.
28. Puri★~Puri★ Stadium:
For Puri★~Puri★ stadium, the stage and its surroundings are the room. when accessing the cages there are plaques of everyone who has died including the idol group. It seems everyone is Japanese all of them were born in Hiroshima, the oldest ones were born before the bombing and the youngest (the idol group) born only 20 years or less after.
29. The Two Headed Troupe:
The room for the troupe is only of the tent of the mirror maze. They give information T.E.S is already aware of and also a scientific name for the Hallucinogenic gas, "Angeli Vocant" the maze is to scale but gives the guest the path to leave. Not much else is interesting.
30. The Edelweiss Family:
The Edelweiss estate and garden has its own replica here, the room is abnormally large and the garden is around 300 ft long. In each room the deaths of different Edelweiss lords and ladies are described with their own accomplishments underneath, strangely the last Edelweiss is not mentioned and his own room is empty. only the doll he had given his late wife is there.
Conclusion:
Thank you for visiting Collectio, where the extraordinary becomes ordinary, and anomalies are celebrated as marvels of the universe. We hope your journey through our museum has been both enlightening and unforgettable.
NOTE
T.E.S believes that some of these locations are in fact in separate universes, this means that Collectio has a multiversal reach.
